Barn End
The "Barn End" project, successfully completed in 2021, encompassed a thoughtful expansion of an existing structure that lies within a conservation area. It was conducted with utmost consideration for the local context, ensuring that the property seamlessly integrated into its surroundings.
Thoughtful conservation: Integrating the property into its surroundings
A small side extension was designed to fit into an underutilised hard landscaped area, preserving the aesthetic harmony with the original barn conversion. The extension was strategically designed to serve a dual purpose, providing the client with a much-needed utility/boot room while creating the opportunity to renovate their kitchen space.
This project not only enhanced the functional aspects of the property but also maintained the overall architectural integrity, resulting in an elegant and cohesive living space for the client.
